This weekend I was back again racing the world championship on a brand new track.
It’s a track in Spain ( Lugo ) that has never been raced on in the world championship before so it’s new for everybody.
The track was very sketchy and with big jumps. Really different track from other tracks I have raced on. Which also made me struggle.
Qualifying: p9
Race 1: Top 15 from start, my riding was okay but I didn’t feel comfortable. I rode my way to p9 but the last lap rider couldn’t make her decision about what line she wanted which made me crash. Lost 9th place but I still managed to finish 10th, but super frustrating.
Race 2: Finally a good start! I was 5th from start but being on track I didn’t feel comfortable on did not help me keep me up there which was disappointing, I ended 10th and 10th overall.
9th in the world championship standings.
It was just one of those weekends I really need to look at the positives and keep fighting!
Now I know I can be in front in the start, now it’s working on staying up there!
